3 Generations of Organic Farming
Stan Kohnert started herb farming by cultivating ginseng and goldenseal on his farm in Le Center in 1971. In 1984 Jason Kohnert began working with Stan wild harvesting herbs. The next year they started field cultivating herbs on the farm. In 1989 the farm expanded with the purchase of land near Montgomery.

We specialize in growing herbs for contract, this insures the herbs you receive are fresh and from the current growing season. When you contract with us you will receive your dry product within weeks of harvest.
